Composer - Guiseppe Verdi (October 9, 1813 - January 27, 1901) Guiseppe Verdi was an Italian composer. He was born in Le Roncole, a village near Busseto which was part of the French empire. When he was twenty, Verdi moved to Milan where he studied music. He later returned to Busseto and became the town music master. A local merchant Antonio Barezzi supported him and loved Verdi's music. Verdi fell in loved with Barezzi's daughter, Magherita and they were married in 1836. His wife Magherita gave birth to two children, both of whom died in infancy. Verdi's words are performed in opera houses around the world. La Rigoletto is one of the top twenty operas performed in opera houses in North America. Answer the following questions: 1.
